Meet Dr. Riekenbrauck

Oshawa Centre Orthodontics | Dr. RiekenbrauckDr. Norm Riekenbrauck completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Toronto in 1988. He continued his studies at U of T, focusing on orthodontics and graduated in 1991.

From there Dr. Riekenbrauck went into private practice in Oshawa with Dr. Jack Langmaid, whose practice philosophy and superb clinical ability he greatly admired. Three years later, Dr. Riekenbrauck purchased the practice. After working with Dr. Langmaid until his retirement, he was joined in the practice by Dr. Ma and Dr. Hergott.

Dr. Riekenbrauck enjoys sharing his professional expertise with orthodontic students, working part-time as a clinical instructor. In this role he oversees patient treatment in the graduate orthodontic clinic at the University of Toronto.

Outside of work, Dr. Riekenbrauck loves to get outdoors. He enjoys cycling, cross-country skiing, kayaking, and nature photography. He and his family have lived in Whitby since 1991. His younger daughter attends school in Oshawa and his older daughter is a student at the Universite de Montréal.
